Blind Flange Manufacturer & Supplier in India

Blind Flange Manufacturer & Supplier in India

Hi-Tech Engineering is a Blind Flange Manufacturer & Supplier in India, offering forged blind flanges for industrial piping systems, pressure vessels, storage tanks, and process equipment. We supply carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel blind flanges in accordance with ASME, ANSI, DIN, EN, and JIS standards for applications requiring secure sealing and system isolation.

Blind flanges are widely used in oil & gas facilities, power plants, petrochemical units, refineries, chemical processing plants, and heavy engineering industries where a piping system needs to be closed temporarily or permanently. Their solid construction provides reliable leak-proof sealing and allows easy access for inspection, maintenance, pressure testing, and future pipeline expansion.

Available in sizes from ½" to 60" NB and pressure ratings from Class 150 to Class 2500, our blind flanges can be supplied in standard as well as custom dimensions according to project specifications and customer drawings.

What is a Blind Flange?

A Blind Flange is a solid flange without a bore, designed to seal the end of a piping system, valve connection, vessel opening, or equipment nozzle. Unlike weld neck, slip-on, or threaded flanges, blind flanges do not allow fluid flow through the connection and are primarily used to isolate sections of a piping system.

Blind Flanges are also commonly known as ASME B16.5 Blind Flanges, RF Blind Flanges, RTJ Blind Flanges, and Class 150 to Class 2500 Blind Flanges depending on their design and pressure rating.

Blind flanges are commonly installed when future modifications, maintenance access, system expansion, or pressure testing may be required. Because they are subjected to internal pressure without a central opening, blind flanges are generally manufactured with greater thickness and strength compared to other flange types.

Their ability to provide complete system closure makes them one of the most important components in industrial piping installations.

Types of Blind Flanges

Raised Face Blind Flange (RF)

Raised Face Blind Flanges are the most commonly used type in industrial piping systems. The raised sealing surface provides improved gasket compression, resulting in dependable sealing performance under various operating conditions.

Ring Type Joint Blind Flange (RTJ)

RTJ Blind Flanges are designed for severe service conditions involving high pressure and elevated temperatures. They utilize metallic ring gaskets to achieve superior sealing performance in critical applications such as refineries, offshore installations, and petrochemical plants.

Flat Face Blind Flange (FF)

Flat Face Blind Flanges feature a flat sealing surface and are commonly used in low-pressure systems or installations connected to cast iron equipment requiring full-face gasket contact.
